Nadin Asmarandjani, a respected interior designer, called me to have photography session of her finished project. It was a medium class house located in Cibubur, 60 km south of Jakarta.

Nadin wanted me to capture the rooms as it is in the real life. It means that I couldn't put additional lightings. Thus, available light was my the one and only source. So what you see here is what you get.

John Hardy House, Ubud, Bali

Cheong Yew Kuan, Singaporean architect who is based in Ubud, Bali asked me to capture one of his masterpiece. The purpose of this session was to send this pictures to international magazine in Europe. The editor of the magazine was interested to review this magnificent building.

It is the residence of John Hardy, a Canadian jewelry artist who based in Sayan, 10 kilometers from Ubud, Bali's art capital. The house made Kalimantan vernacular architecture as the theme. Here, you would experience the new phrase you call "house".

It was a photography session of a room in a house in Kemang, Jakarta. My duty was to capture this simple room into photogenic frame.

I used two additional lightings to warm the room. One lighted the left sofa, the another lighted the whole room. I had my aperture set to f22 to get the starring lamps above.
